One may think that increasing the number of subscribers in the list will help in harvesting good results and other may think that sending HTML campaigns may improve the click rates. But the fact of the matter is sending targeted emails with relevant content helps improving open and click rates.
Dynamic tags help in increasing the relevancy of your email content, by sending partially personalized emails to the subscribers within the list. Most of the businesses around the globe are relying on this fundamental principle of the relevancy of the content, in order to generate results, quickly and effectively.

Name |
This is the field to assign a unique identity to the dynamic tag, you are about to create. The uniqueness of name will help identifying the particular tag among the list of other dynamic content tags within the application/ user account. The name can be anything relevant like “Greeting Tag” |

Subscriber List |
Available subscriber lists to select one of them to make this content tag part of it. You can select multiple lists to add one dynamic tag by just ticking the checkboxes. |

Unit of Content |
The unit of content helps creating content for the dynamic tags and applying rules for the particular unit. Each unit of content that you will create during one selection, will appear in this box, to edit or delete the content, before you finally save it. The passage under, “Add Content Unit” with an example provides a better insight. |
a) Add Unit of Content
Click “Add Content Unit” from the bottom of the page, to add new content unit and apply appropriate rules for the subscriber to receive the content from this unit by replacing the content in the body of the email, if the rule matches.

Unit Label |
Name this content unit to assign a unique identity to this content unit. This name would be for your reference only, and will not be displayed to the recipient of the email. |

Mark Default |
Mark this content unit as default content unit by ticking the checkbox next to the Unit Label. In the absence of any content unit, the default content unit will be used when the applied rule matches. |

Unit Rules |
Use the set of first two dropdowns together with the 3rd simple text field to apply a rule for the subscribers. Like for our example content unit below, the rule is to send this unit of content when the Country (1st Dropdown) of the subscriber is (2nd Dropdown) Malaysia (in Text Field). |

Create Content |
The editor helps creating the content unit to replace the content in email body, when the above mentioned rule matches. |
b) Example Content Unit
For our example case, we’ll create a content unit to replace the greeting text for all the subscribers whose country is saved as Malaysia, in the country field. “Malaysian Greetings” can be the name of this content unit, from the first dropdown of Unit Rule”, “Country” field is selected to apply this rule on.
From the second dropdown leaving the negative filters (Isn't and doesn't) it applies a positive filter “Is” (Is, Contains), and the text field is filled with “Malaysia” as country.
Except for the greeting text, remaining content is the same as saved in the email campaign, for this example unit. But you can go even further to translate the whole text in regional languages, or can explore number of other options using the content unit and content unit rules, for better personalization of your email campaign.
Together filter applies the rule for the subscriber whose country field is saved as Malaysia in the list(s). They will greeted with their regional greetings "Selamat Petang".
